The BERGHAUER family received visas from Aristides de Sousa Mendes visas in Bordeaux on June 20 and again in Vichy on October 8.
They crossed into Portugal and sailed to Brazil in January 1941 on the vessel Siqueira Campos. Their daughter Beatriz was born in Brazil in January 1941.
