About the Family

The LANDAU family resided in Lisbon in November 1940, presumably after receiving visas from Aristides de Sousa Mendes.

They traveled to Rio de Janeiro on the vessel Serpa Pinto in November 1940, where they reunited with the LANDAU sons Antszil and Seigmund, coming from New York. The entire family then sailed to New York on the ship Brazil in May 1941.
